Hello @k-okada! I may have been fooled by the binary installation instructions in the upstream repository of euslisp https://github.com/euslisp/EusLisp?tab=readme-ov-file#binary-installation-recommended which recommends to follow the instructions at jskeus repository which at the first step says to setup ROS https://github.com/euslisp/jskeus?tab=readme-ov-file#111-setup-ros-repository Also the package name is ros-$ROS_DISTRO-euslisp which suggests that there is an euslisp package in the ROS upstream PPA. I also see a dependency to catkin in the package.xml https://github.com/tork-a/euslisp-release/blob/release/noetic/euslisp/package.xml#L16 https://github.com/tork-a/jskeus-release/blob/debian/noetic/jskeus/package.xml#L14
From what you write it seems maintainers eventually decided to get away from ROS, is that the case? Or is it just waiting for someone to migrate the code to colcon/ROS 2? if the migration happens will it be added back to ROS 2 ppas? I really want to avoid future collisions. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2096808 Title: Sync euslisp/jskeus from Debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/euslisp/+bug/2096808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
