As bumping bctoolbox to the new upstream version 5.3.x (as Debian is doing) will require a library transition for bctoolbox (because of the SONAME change), an alternative is to backport necessary patches from upstream to the current version we have in plucky (5.2) to add support for mbedtls 3.6.
I did this backport and the bctoolbox package with support for mbedtls 3.6 can be found at : https://launchpad.net/~hectorcao/+archive/ubuntu/lp2091291 ** Changed in: bctoolbox (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: bctoolbox (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Hector CAO (hectorcao) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091291 Title: bctoolbox blocks libmbedtls transition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bctoolbox/+bug/2091291/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
