Public bug reported:
Hi team,
I'm not sure that I've cathegorized correctly this topic, sorry in
advance.
So, I'm facing a crash issue when waking up my PC which is probably comming
from the GPU.
when the crash occures I'm facing 2 situations:
- lock screen is appearing but after logging the desktop is crashed
- black screen with this error (+ photo in attached file) : [16717.670182]
[drm:nv_drm_connector_getmodes [nvidia_drm]] *ERROR* [nvidia drm] [GPU ID
0x00000100] Failed to get mode at modeIndex 2 of NvKmsKapiDisplay 0x00000100
I'm using a nvdia GTX 1080ti with proprietary from nvidia for gaming (that part
works fine)
I've noticed that the non proprietary don't create crash when waking up however
gaming performance are not good.
Is there a command to execute to fix it ?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,
Martin.
