I fear your best bet at this point is to try and contact the OpenJDK
developers upstream. Their “fixing policy” is a bit annoying, so you’d
first have to see if it’s still a bug in the latest JDK, then if it gets
fixed, the fix can be backported to the LTS JDKs (21, 17, 11, 8).

I see you invested quite some effort into making it easy enough to
reproduce the issue, and if I were in a position to develop a fix for
OpenJDK, I’d be happy about it, but it pains me to say I’m not and that
my mails to the jdk8u-dev mailing list are usually ignored (although
occasionally an Oracle employee chimes in with unhelpful messages
irrelevant to the question).
