This doesn't seem like a bug in Ubuntu. Rather, you need a newer version
of vhba that includes:
https://github.com/cdemu/cdemu/commit/108a625850ff2b9823f7c5830728cd059074d4f9
The vhba-module package in Ubuntu 24.10 already has this fix.
There is no vhba-module package in Ubuntu 24.04/noble, so I'm not sure where
you got it. Please elaborate.
