Public bug reported:
Description: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Release: 24.04
emacs:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1:29.3+1-1ubuntu2
Version table:
1:29.3+1-1ubuntu2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/universe amd64 Packages
If you install emacs-nox it will pull in as a dependency the
libgcc-14-dev package. After that all C/C++ variables seemed to have
been cleared: C_INCLUDE_PATH, CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH and so
on. Every C/C++ compiler was unable to locate any include after that.
Installing libstdc++-14-dev fixed it.
** Affects: emacs (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
