Yes, switching to the included version of Kubuntu seems to be fine. Not sure about Rusticl though. Seems a bit confusing.
I see this page: https://docs.mesa3d.org/rusticl.html But it's on Mesa3D and says it needs Gallium drivers. Not sure what that means. I believe I'm using xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu which doesn't seem to say anything about Mesa, Mesa3D, or Gallium. $ sudo apt info xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu Package: xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu Version: 23.0.0-1build1 Priority: optional Section: x11 Origin: Ubuntu Maintainer: Ubuntu Developers <[email protected]> Original-Maintainer: Debian X Strike Force <[email protected]> Bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+filebug Installed-Size: 187 kB Provides: xorg-driver-video Depends: libc6 (>= 2.17), libdrm-amdgpu1 (>= 2.4.89), libgbm1 (>= 8.1~0), libudev1 (>= 183), xorg-video-abi-25, xserver-xorg-core (>= 2:21.1.1) Suggests: firmware-amd-graphics Task: ubuntu-desktop-minimal, ubuntu-desktop, ubuntu-desktop-raspi, kubuntu-desktop, xubuntu-minimal, xubuntu-desktop, lubuntu-desktop, ubuntustudio-desktop, ubuntustudio-desktop-core, ubuntukylin-desktop, ubuntukylin-desktop-minimal, ubuntu-mate-core, ubuntu-mate-desktop, ubuntu-budgie-desktop-minimal, ubuntu-budgie-desktop, ubuntu-budgie-desktop-raspi, ubuntu-unity-desktop, edubuntu-desktop-gnome-minimal, edubuntu-desktop-gnome-raspi, ubuntucinnamon-desktop-minimal, ubuntucinnamon-desktop-raspi Download-Size: 69.5 kB APT-Manual-Installed: no APT-Sources: http://mirror.arizona.edu/ubuntu oracular/main amd64 Packages Description: X.Org X server -- AMDGPU display driver This package provides the 'amdgpu' driver for the AMD Radeon cards.
