I to would like to see this. I use some rather complicated filters for most of
my work. (example, nothing tagged as junk, johnny, siblings, and few more).
But occasionally I have to turn it off to check that something did not get
hidden by mistake. I then have to rebuild the filter from the ground up.
This could be stored the same way you store the state of display on exiting.
