Public bug reported:
This has the following consequences:
* Breaks fakechroot when chrooting into a system with an older libc
-> Honestly not too much of a problem for me, the approach was very fragile
* Renders the system *completely* unusable if the ld.so has been upgraded but
not the libc, e.g. in case of power loss while unpacking libc6.deb
-> More problematic
