I tested this on my notebook. I reported it in bug #2099943 but in retrospect I probably should just have mentioned it here. So my apologies for that if so.
Screen is blank and unresponsive when attempting to resume from suspend (display lid close and open) on an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro - Black Edition (GTX 1060 6GB). Ubuntu 24.04.2 Kernel 6.11.0-17-generic, 32 GB RAM The current 550 driver resumes from a display close / open with no issues. Reverting back to 550 also fixed the problem. CTRL + ALT + F3 will bring up a new TTY. Attempting a CTRL + ALT + F1 will display a frozen gray prompt cursor in the upper left corner, and the system seems completely frozen at that point. No choice but to reboot once this happens. ---------------------------------------------- Outside of that it seemed to be working well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2095341 Title: New upstream release 570.86.15 ERD1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fabric-manager-570/+bug/2095341/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
