Happy to accept this FFE. Papers seems, as you say, to be well
maintained, and the trend of other distros switching to Papers is
evidence enough of this. Since Evince and Papers share a lot of the same
source code, this FFE is particularly risk-free. Please consider
updating the status on the MIR bug as well as responding to security
team queries, too. Promptly approving now so this FFE can go through
before User Interface Freeze.
