  As of kernel version v6.12+, tuning for low-latency can be done at boot-
  time via kernel command line. The lowlatency-kernel package will take
  care of setting the proper grub arguments, making linux-generic suitable
  to replace linux-lowlatency.

  A spec was drafted to phase out the lowlatency kernel flavour, but it
