Thanks, Christian. php8.4 is already showing up in the component mismatches.
php-pspell would only show up in components mismatches after the current binary package is removed from the archive as per LP: #2101155. TBH, even after the removal is processed, I am unsure if it will show up in the component mismatches. Currently, the php-pspell in main is an arch all binary package, which was produced by the old version of php-defaults and is currently NBS. Then, we have php8.3-pspell also in main, which is built from the php8.3 sources. What changed: now, we will no longer have a php-pspell binary package. Instead, there is only php8.4-pspell (currently in universe) which is built from the new php-pspell source package. This new php8.4-pspell binary package, also "Provides: php-pspell". php-pspell | 1:7.0+35ubuntu6 | xenial | all php-pspell | 1:7.0+35ubuntu6.1 | xenial-updates | all php-pspell | 1:7.2+60ubuntu1 | bionic | all php-pspell | 2:7.4+75 | focal | all php-pspell | 2:8.1+92ubuntu1 | jammy | all php-pspell | 2:8.3+93ubuntu2 | noble | all php-pspell | 2:8.3+93ubuntu2 | oracular | all php-pspell | 2:8.3+93ubuntu2 | plucky | all php-pspell | 3:1.0.1-3 | plucky/universe | source Finally, the only reverse dependency on "php- pspell|php8.3-pspell|php8.4-pspell" (apart from the to-be-removed binary package php-pspell depending on php8.3-pspell) is "roundcube" which is in universe. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2101190 Title: [MIR] Promote php8.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php-pspell/+bug/2101190/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
