If the new SRU (ubuntu3) carries this patch, then you don't need to touch this 
one.
I checked and the new version got accepted into -proposed already, so it 
supersedes the previous version there (this SRU).

There is no harm in removing the tag though - this version is not in
-proposed anymore so it will never migrate (:
