Public bug reported:

Ardour 8.12 was just uploaded to unstable, and as such, even though it
contains new features, we would like to have this in Ubuntu Studio. If
it builds in unstable (it should), I would like to sync it to Ubuntu.

rdepends as follows:

  Breaks: ardour-data (<= 1:4.2~dfsg-1)
  Recommends: ubuntustudio-audio
  Recommends: multimedia-recording
  Recommends: multimedia-mixing
  Suggests: multimedia-looping
  Suggests: multimedia-audio-utilities
  Recommends: multimedia-ambisonics
  Suggests: invada-studio-plugins-lv2
  Suggests: invada-studio-plugins-ladspa
  Recommends: games-content-dev
  Replaces: ardour-data (<= 1:4.2~dfsg-1)
  Recommends: ardour-data

As you can see, it has no reverse dependencies that would require any
rebuilding as most are metapackages or ardour-data, which is built in
the package itself.

About Ardour:

Ardour is a cross-platform Digital Audio Workstation akin to Apple Logic
Pro or Avid Pro Tools, and is the upstream project of Harrison Mixbus.
Its two lead developers, Paul Davis and Robin Gareus, are friends of the
Ubuntu Studio project, therefore friends of the Ubuntu project, and have
been at Ubuntu Summit in the past.

** Affects: ardour (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
