Hello, I did the following verification on Noble (24.04)
I have a machine with INTEL(R) XEON(R) PLATINUM 8592+ CPU, the machine
has SGX capability and sgx is enabled in Ubuntu.
I used the VM configuration in the bug description, I'm quite lucky to only
have to modify the path to Ubuntu qcow2 image I built myself (24.04).
I create a VM from that configuration file:
$ virsh new vm.xml
And run into the described error in the LP issue.
And then I installed the libvirt in the proposed PPA:
$ sudo apt install libvirt-daemon=10.0.0-2ubuntu8.7~ppa1
And after that, I can create the VM successfully and log-in into the VM
console:
root@guest:~# free -h
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 61Gi 869Mi 60Gi 1.2Mi 254Mi 60Gi
Swap: 0B 0B 0B
