Next steps: I think the private test suite question is still hypothetical at the moment, since there are so many other open issues that currently sound like they invalidate this SRU. Please revise the analysis in this bug to cover all other issues, so that the only review point remaining is that a private test suite is required. If and once the SRU team agrees that all other points are addressed, *then* I think it would be appropriate to open a wider discussion on the private test suite point.
