Public bug reported:

With the latest Ubuntu 24.04 x06 Image, issue is seen with the assigned
DHCP IP addresses going down as soon as desktop is disabled.

At boot a DHCP IP Address is assigned to all connected PS ethernet
ports. As soon as connected Ubuntu desktop is disabled using "sudo
xmutil desktop_disabled", the IP addresses go down since the eth
interfaces all also brought down maybe because the networking services
are removed with the graphical target.

Workaround here is to restart the NetworkManager.service to get the
interface and IPs back up

sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager.service

This workaround was not needed earlier.

Thanks.
