1.burned 24.04.2 on USB stick
2.attempted installation on Dell Optiplex 7060 I7 with updated BIOS
3.Black screen - no boot activity whatsoever
4.Same machine boots with Grub options - 6.11.0.17 generic
5.Same machine fails to boot with option - 6.11.0.19 generic
The boot failure/black screen is associated with Ubuntu 24.04.2 and Grub
option - 6.11.0.19 generic
My PC is perfectly happy with 6.11.0.17. I use it every day with various
apps and no problems. The total boot failure/black screen is
surprising.
