(I am the provider of the fixed geeqie package). Test plan: Start geeqie, simply press Ctrl+H. With the fixed package it doesn't crash, otherwise it crashes.
My full test: Running noble, starting geeqie and then hiding the file list by pressing Ctrl+H, geeqie crashes with a backtrace. apt show shows this as geeqie version 1:2.2-2build4 - Then adding the noble-proposed software repositories, restarting the computer and installing geeqie from noble-proposed - with the command sudo apt install -t noble-proposed geeqie geeqie-common I get geeqie (and geeqie-common) verson 1:2.2-2ubuntu0.1 After this, when running geeqie I can switch the visiblility of the file-list by pressing Ctrl+H, and don't get a crash any longer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2071729 Title: geeqie crashes when switching to "float file list" mode (after dist- upgrade to noble) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/geeqie/+bug/2071729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
