There's a significant Intel kernel graphics driver (i915) warning/crash in https://launchpadlibrarian.net/784995012/CurrentDmesg.txt which seems to be interrupting the driver initialization and might be related to a hardware privacy screen(?). That initialization failure could be causing this bug indirectly so you would need to test a different kernel.
