We are also affected by the bug. Further tests indicate that the problem only occurs with IPv4 communication, not with IPv6. We have mixed dualstack and IPv6-only VMs and "bad gso: type: 4, size: 1448" is only logged on vms during IPv4 traffic.
iperf tests on dualstack vm: ipv6: 819Mbits/sec (not one "bad gso") ipv4: 4.06Mbits/sec (lots of "bad gso") We also use AMD EPYC CPU and BCM57504 NetXtreme-E NICs on the KVM Host (PVE). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2098961 Title: Severe network performance issues with Kernel 6.8.0-53 and 6.11.0-17 (Xubuntu) on Proxmox 8.3 (bnxt_en + VirtIO) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2098961/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
