My Tv tuner Card Brand name is Tech-com,indian brand,model:SSD
:ssd-tv-670,website:www.techcomindia.com.
Alsa website said it is saa7130,card no.1,but when i loaded manually the module
into kernel using command using insmod.because feisty fawn did not detect it
automatically.
dmesg reports that it doesnt have support eeprom,what not,i can still play all
video and audio in windows xp without any glitches(which asked me for
drivers).I have with me cd rom of drivers. but how do get sound out of my
card.i can switch channels with tv time no special(no free software for tv
tuner huh?).Well Tv time,also isnt as good as Windows
side applications like christv/windvr/izetv/showshifter/supertv or any other
freeware for tv tuner.Tv time doesnt detects the
card.hard to configure the card inside tv time,scanning doesnt show me all the
channels i.e.more than 80+ channels.Help me,where can i get new apps for ubuntu
esp tv tuner and multimedia software.
