Public bug reported: I see that Edubuntu includes Calibre. Calibre is an amazing app but I think its GUI does feel somewhat out of place.
I suggest trying Foliate as a possible replacement: https://johnfactotum.github.io/foliate/ Foliate seems to be a fairly good ebook reader that looks good in GNOME, but it does not do everything that Calibre does. One major shortcoming of Foliate is that it is not accessible to people who are blind. It has a somewhat hidden text to speech feature but its UX is really bad. I don't know if Calibre works well with Orca. ** Affects: edubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2106274 Title: Consider foliate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edubuntu-meta/+bug/2106274/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
