Hi Andreas, Mike, I've been testing both options last week, and looking at the results I'll now agree with mike :) The alternative fix from comment 19 seems to work correctly for the leftover mount points, and does not seem to have issues with the grub entries (it's available for Jammy under [0]).
Given we're extremely close to Plucky's release, I'd like to wait a bit to fix the other releases. I'll revisit this one whenever the next archive opens, and re-target the appropriate releases.
