Responding to the request above: I have now run sudo apport-collect 2106352. The collected system information should be attached to this report.
Regarding whether the audio worked on older kernels: I installed Linux Mint 22.1 "Xia" (based on Ubuntu 24.04 "Noble") recently. It came with the 6.8 kernel series. The only kernel series offered by the Linux Mint Update Manager GUI were 6.8 and 6.11. I have tested the following specific kernels available through the Update Manager: 6.8.0-51-generic 6.8.0-57-generic 6.11.0-21-generic Unfortunately, the audio freezing/looping issue (which seems related to the UBSAN DAPM errors during boot mentioned in the main report description) occurred consistently on all of these tested kernels. Since no older kernel series (like 6.6, 6.5, or 5.15) were available for installation via the standard Update Manager on this Mint 22.1 system, I have not been able to test if the audio worked correctly with those significantly older kernels on this particular OS installation.
