This package is synced without any changes from Debian, and as you can
see, this is a known bug in Debian.
I wouldn't panic for 25.04 since the issue regarding "This compatibility
logic is deprecated, expect removal soon" won't happen until well-after
25.04's release and only security fixes for systemd are going to be
allowed, not feature or functionality changes.
I don't understand why it hasn't been upgraded in Debian in about 10
years, to be honest. I might be able to upgrade the package in Ubuntu in
the next cycle (for 25.10), but there's no real value in wholesale
backporting it since, as of now, it works as intended.
>I installed today Ubuntu Studio 25.04 using stable kernel
(6.14.2-lowlatency).
Ubuntu Studio 25.04 doesn't include the lowlatency kernel, and I do not
understand why you decided to install it. We have other methods for
enabling low latency on the Generic kernel which is enabled by default
(see Ubuntu Studio Audio Configuration). Your installation of the
lowlatency kernel is unsupported. That's a point for another thread and
shouldn't be discussed here.
