This is a temporary solution.
```bash
echo $(( $( cat /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1/brightness ) + 1 )) | sudo tee 
/sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1/brightness
```
Then the brightness adjustment slider appears in the upper right corner.

That is to say, just change the value of
`/sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1/brightness` to a different value than
it is now.
