Binary package hint: synaptic
On 7.10 I have no proxy set in synaptic package manager (under Settings,
Preferences, Network) but do have a proxy set at the OS/GUI level (under
System, Preferences, Network Proxy) the machine I've just upgraded to
8.4 is and was set the same but synaptic times out, unless I configure
the proxy in synaptic it's self. If i do that it works but its a change
in behavior?
