On Ubuntu 24.10, kernel package linux-image-6.11.0-24-generic boots.
After upgrading to Ubuntu 25.04, kernel package linux-image-6.14.0-15-generic
gets stuck at:
EFI stub: Loaded initrd from LLINUX_EFI_INITRD_MEDIA_GUID device path
Selecting the older kernel version from grub boot menu allows successful
booting into the system again.
