I tried what I could. Some comments so far: The error message stated by the UI is less than helpful. It suggests to use ppa-purge, which is alien to probably any normal user. The help-text given by the tool is cryptic, asking for information a user most likely does not have, and it does not help with any indication how to potentially find this information.
AND: You cannot copy/paste the text; I had to screenshot the error message to be able to peruse its contents.
