For the record, it happened to me as well last week, after upgrading
from 24.10 to 25.04. I'm on a model A1502, MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,
Early 2015).

Booting from linux-image-6.14.0-15-generic the computer shows the Apple
logo on the screen and it stays forever. Same behavior on both normal
and recovery modes.

Booting from previous kernel (linux-image-6.11.0-24-generic) works.
