I planning to get rid of my livecd-rootfs fork in the future, and to anticipate I created [this branch](https://code.launchpad.net/~cypress- team/livecd-rootfs/+git/livecd-rootfs/+ref/backport-subiquity-arm64-fix) that isolates the backported fix. Shall I propose it for a merge?
