Binary package hint: base-installer
I prefer to use lvm on my workstation. so I put the ubuntu install cd and
started the installation on my new pc. The installer did not provide the lvm
option and it is really correct so I went to console to partitioning with lvm
but...
1) lvm2 package is not available on live cd
2) the kernel does not support device mapper
