Hello,

I am using OpenStack Caracal on Ubuntu 22.04. And Horizon is working.

But running sudo apt-get install python-heat-dashboard is giving the
following message, also following the steps from Openstack official
documentation is giving the same issue John faced. The documentation was
last updated in 2018 and it is 2025.

root@controller:~# sudo apt-get install python-heat-dashboard
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package python-heat-dashboard is not available, but is referred to by another
package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  heat-dashboard-common

E: Package 'python-heat-dashboard' has no installation candidate
root@controller:~#

Kindly help if anyone figured it out
