FWIW, this does not work for me. If I run the command in the terminal that 
brings up a working video stream:
gst-launch-1.0 libcamerasrc ! video/x-raw ! autovideosink
and then try to go to webcamtest or a Google Meet, it cannot detect the camera.

My installation is a fresh Ubuntu Plucky (25.04) install (rather than an
upgrade) and I have not installed anything to try to get this work aside
from what was suggested through "Additional Drivers".
