This was discussed with Nadzeya in-person, but here's a summary for the
record.

I will be rejecting this package from the NEW queue. IMHO, librust-hwlib-dev is 
not only useless, but actively harmful. As it stands, it *looks* like a normal 
debcargo package, but it's not part of that ecosystem.
That means that any normal consumer of librust* packages will have nasty
surprises when trying to resolve the dependencies.

OTOH, any *other* prospective user of this specific dependency will have to
vendor the rest of their Rust crates, and tooling does *not* support this
hybrid scenario.

As discussed, the one known user of this as a library would be the pro
client, but since that's a Python program, my advice would be to actually build
and provide the Python bindings *from* the rust-hwlib source package. That way,
the Pro folks don't have to worry about Rust and can just focus on using the
thing.
