Once alsa-ucm-conf is updated from github, audio works correctly (basically one line change to include motherboard) alsa-ucm-conf 1.2.12 is current version, and alsa-ucm-conf 1.2.13 or .14 fixes (commit https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-ucm- conf/commit/213920d35211aaed97395f2bc793820061123fd3) - - I'm not sure if other newer motherboards are impacted too, or just X870E.
