Thank you for the solution! Masking `esm-cache.service` and removing `/var/lib/ubuntu-advantage/apt- esm/` resolved the issue.
The ESM advertisement no longer appears in `apt upgrade` output. I verified that all repositories (noble, noble-updates, noble-security, noble-backports, and third-party repos like Spotify and Dropbox) continue to function correctly, and no side effects were observed, including with `ubuntu-advantage.service`.
