Public bug reported: mdadm package is not currently being tested before being promoted to newer versions in Ubuntu. It doesn't have build tests, and failing autopkgtests is not a blocker.
The software is not well written - flags to skip the linear tests don't work (that flag is not checked while running tests), and some options don't follow the documentation and the manpage (Example: the 02lineargrow test which uses --grow with --add) This upstream fix fixes the --grow with -add bug, but this bug should be considered a general bug to fix the autopkgtests (which needs more work): https://github.com/md-raid- utilities/mdadm/commit/c09ae8417dc9e11da1d5bf2867c6498050c6ddb9 ** Affects: mdadm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112327 Title: No testing for mdadm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mdadm/+bug/2112327/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
