Upstream closed the linked ticket as a duplicate of another somewhat similar one, but I don't think that was the case (other case was much more muddled). That other bug was also closed a long time ago.
I haven't verified it because I'm not running Ubuntu any more, but there are much more recent (game, not benchmark) bugs about similar thing in upstream, see: * https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2937 (closed year ago) * https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/3846 (still open) So the "fixes" to the problem, seem not to have really fixed the root cause (of Mutter/Gtk doing things in wrong order compared to other window managers, as explained in my original comment). Note: you do not need download GfxBench to see the issue, it was visibly just with the "glmark2" benchmark included into Ubuntu, see: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/60#note_97978 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #2937 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2937 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #3846 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/3846 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #60 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/60 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1755501 Title: GfxBench renders fullscreen content at wrong size in Gnome desktop (on X) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1755501/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
