Ok, I've got this happening right now. Unfortunately I can't screenshare as this is my work machine with private information on screen, but if you need any other info about the apps of environment I can capture it.
I have Element and Firefox open. The caret is in the Element chat. I click on a link in Element, which opens in Firefox. I click on a form field in Firefox, and I can see the caret there, but when I type it types into Element, and I can still see the caret there too.
