Both CPC and Microsoft have completed their testing of https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/2.11.1.4-0ubuntu1~24.04.1 .
CPC built the package version into AMD64 server, AMD64 minimal, AMD64 FDE, ARM64 server, and ARM64 minimal images, uploaded those images to an Azure image gallery, and executed against those images the same tests that are automatically executed against all images of those kinds that CPC delivers to the Azure Marketplace. All the tests passed. Microsoft focused their testing on the bug referenced in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/+bug/2068021/comments/30 . They verified that the version of the agent in noble-proposed does not create the systemd drop-in file that is resulting in CPU throttling of the agent and its extensions in version https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/2.9.1.1-0ubuntu3. ** Tags removed: verification-failed-noble ** Tags added: verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2068021 Title: MRE updates of walinuxagent 2.11.1.4 into N/J/F To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/+bug/2068021/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
