Heads up for anyone following this bug or finding it via search (no action required by Canonical)
Today the official linux-image-6.14.0-22-generic/plucky-updates,plucky- security, now 6.14.0-22.22 was released for upgrades. It overwrote the testing image referenced above, but because the unsigned test image modules weren't upgraded my computer wouldn't boot. I booted the Oracular kernel and ran this command to "downgrade" the modules to match the newly released kernel: sudo apt-get install linux-modules-6.14.0-22-generic=6.14.0-22.22 linux- modules-extra-6.14.0-22-generic=6.14.0-22.22 This kernel boots but doesn't have the spikeyboard/IOMMU fix in it, so the keyboard and trackpad didn't work. Looks like the fix was committed for the future 6.14.0-24-generic release. So when -24 is released we MacBook users ought to be able to run off the supported Plucky kernel instead of the Oracular kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107976 Title: Apple spi keyboard/trackpad not working 25.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2107976/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
