The 3 new patches are a minimal backport of what was landed upstream in https://github.com/canonical/netplan/pull/548 and also match what we have in Questing (albeit in multiple per-commit patch files, instead of a single file – which is totally fine!). It also includes a minimal change to "import pathlib" (from https://github.com/canonical/netplan/commit/52ea6f3) for making the new tests work – matching the patch in Ubuntu Questing.
