I've just updated from Ubuntu 24.10 to 25.04, which updates GIMP2 to
GIMP3. My system language is German (has been since the first
installation), but GIMP3 is English, although the settings say "System
language". I've manually switched the language to German in the GIMP
settings and restarted the application. However, the GIMP interface is
still English, although the setting says "German".
I've also logged out and in again, checked that `language-pack-gnome-de`
is installed and also installed `gimp-help-de`. But the GIMP interface
is still English.
How can I switch the GIMP3 interface language to German?
