Hello, @telescreen, thanks for reaching out and reporting this bug. Looking at bugs like LP #2115753 and LP #2109673 (although that one is about authenticating with smartcards), I can see how the profiles need to be improved...
In order to debug this further: - It seems by the logs that you are authenticating to AD using samba. Are there any other shareable configuration / log files? - Or, would you have a reproducer for this situation?
