Public bug reported:

I tried to change the nameservers like

 netplan set "ethernets.eth0.nameservers.addresses=[192.168.100.1,
192.168.100.19]"

and found
       nameservers:
        addresses:
        - 192.168.100.1
        - 8.8.8.8
        - 192.168.100.19

Existing nameservers do not get deleted. Even tried
 netplan set "ethernets.eth0.nameservers.addresses=[]"

but that too does not delete nameservers.
