Public bug reported: After upgrading to 6.11.0-29-generic the thunderbolt display didn't work anymore.
I expected to start the laptop (as always) and see the login screens of gnome on my external display. Instead the external display did not connect (and went into suspend). This only affected the display-part of thunderbolt, the (integrated) usb hub was working with all connected devices. I wasn't able to figure the issue out using dmesg since it seemed the display stopped announcing itself on thunderbolt because i wasn't able to find any errors about the display. But i am also not firm in debugging display issues on this level so take it with a grain of salt. I fixed this for now downgrading to 6.11.0-28 using the grub menu. Let me know if i can lend a helping hand.
