Thanks Juerg, I've updated to linux-oem-6.14 version 6.14.0-1007.7, unfortunately the issue seems to persist. Without manually updating I can see that my firmware is already the at the target version:
$ sudo dmesg | grep mt7925e [ 8.561966] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002) [ 8.568361] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: ASIC revision: 79250000 [ 8.644960] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: HW/SW Version: 0x8a108a10, Build Time: 20250305132908a [ 9.126633] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: WM Firmware Version: ____000000, Build Time: 20250305133013 [ 9.888889] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0 wlp194s0: renamed from wlan0 At the moment I am observing the adapter fail to get any traffic through at higher bit rates and then drop down to 802.11g type bit rates. Have attached full kernel log, just turned off the wifi manually in order to post this comment. ** Attachment added: "Kernel logs as requested" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.14/+bug/2115883/+attachment/5889711/+files/kernel.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115883 Title: mt7925e: Very poor performance on wifi-6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.14/+bug/2115883/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
